Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon Physician for a 50-day assignment in Michigan. This role involves weekday onsite coverage with night call and patient rounding, plus weekend call from 7a-7a, requiring a minimum commitment of two weeks per month. The physician will manage a broad range of adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery cases, including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, tube thoracostomy, pericardial window, various thoracotomies, and mediastinal surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform adult cardiac surgery
- Conduct general thoracic surgery
- Execute CABG procedures
- Perform heart valve repair and replacement
- Manage tube thoracostomy
- Conduct pericardial window procedures
- Perform thoracotomy (lung biopsy, lung resection, pneumonectomy)
- Execute thoracotomy decortication
- Conduct mediastinal surgery
