Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment in Virginia. The schedule involves Mon-Fri shifts from 7a-3p, complemented by night call from 3p-7a and 24-hour weekend call from 7a-7a. This role involves managing patient care before, during, and after surgeries of the heart, lungs, and chest, including first assisting, patient evaluations, rounding, and inserting/removing chest tubes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manages patient care before, during, and after surgeries of the heart, lungs, and chest
- First assist duties
- Patient evaluations
- Rounding on patients
- Insert and removal of chest tubes
- Additional duties as required
