Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology for a 30-day assignment. This role focuses on providing independent, high-quality, patient-centered care through patient assessments, medical record review, treatment plan development, and patient education. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call requirements, emphasizing collaborative team care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide independent, high-quality, patient-centered care across various settings, including hospital, clinic, and virtual environments.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and review medical records and diagnostic data.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, conditions, and preventative care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, adhering to all regulatory and practice standards.
• Assist physicians with inpatient care and float to other departments within the scope of practice as needed.
