Responsibilities and Duties
Provide full-scope anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
Manage anesthesia for a variety of hospital-based cases
Maintain current competence and experience with at least 100 or more hospital anesthesiology cases within the past 12 months
Complete all required documentation in Epic EMR
Participate in call rotation and post-call responsibilities
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Additional Information
U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent required
Successful completion of an ACGME-approved residency in Anesthesiology
Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan and a Controlled Substance License
PALS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
