Physician - Anesthesiologist

Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 60-day assignment, offering an independent practice environment. This role requires a commitment of at least three weeks per month, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM. The Physician will be assigned to either the OR or Endoscopy, managing a diverse range of cases including general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide independent practice with no supervision
• Be assigned to either OR or Endoscopy
• Perform cases including general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases
• Demonstrate regional anesthesia skills
• Comfortably manage 16-20 endoscopy cases per day
• Perform various blocks, including pediatric blocks

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Anesthesiology
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), regional anesthesia skills preferred, comfortable managing 16-20 endoscopy cases per day, ability to perform various blocks including pediatric blocks
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients per day: 16-20 cases/day
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: Independent practice (no supervision)
