Physician - Anesthesiologist

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for an engaging 70-day assignment in Iowa, beginning Jun 29, 2026. In this vital role, you will manage daily shifts from 0630-1630, focusing on the evaluation and monitoring of patient care both before and during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include providing general anesthesia for various cases, including obstetrics and healthy pediatric patients, alongside performing conscious sedation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgical procedures.
• Administer general anesthesia for obstetrical cases, including Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC).
• Provide general anesthesia for healthy pediatric patients, primarily for tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy procedures.
• Perform conscious sedation.
• Participate in supervision as needed.
• Note: Cardiac and neurosurgery cases are not part of this assignment.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
