Job Description

Our client in Florida is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 100-day assignment starting Oct 19, 2026. This full-time locum tenens opportunity involves a Monday-Friday schedule, offering either five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts, complemented by beeper call. The successful Physician will manage a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, GI, Robotics, OB, and Neuro, within a collaborative care team model.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for a wide variety of surgical procedures.
  • Work full-time, a minimum of four weeks per month.
  • Adhere to a Monday-Friday schedule, offering either five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts.
  • Participate in beeper call rotation.
  • Manage cases including General Surgery, Ortho, GI, Robotics, OB, Radiology, Endo, Eyes, Plastics, ENT, and Neuro (excluding trauma cases).
  • Work within an 80/20 supervision model.
  • Collaborate with a care team comprising 26 CRNAs and 12 MDs.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • EMR System: Meditech EHR.
  • Credentialing process requires 120 days, no expedited options are available.
  • A phone interview is a final step for hospital privileges.
  • Candidates primary residence must be outside of Florida.
