Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting on 12/01/2025. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekends or call requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various surgical specialties, including gynecology, orthopedics, neurospine, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and some cardiovascular procedures. The CRNA must be proficient in administering spinals and comfortable working with adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients. This role involves medical direction in a clinic setting and requires experience with the Epic electronic health record system.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures

• Administer and manage spinal anesthesia

• Work collaboratively with the medical team in a clinic setting

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation

• Deliver care to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients

• Participate in medical direction as required

• Adapt to various surgical specialties, including gynecology, orthopedics, neurospine, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, and interventional radiology

• Assist in some cardiovascular procedures, including open heart surgeries

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures


Additional Information:

• Current Texas state license required

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries is beneficial

• Possibility of assignment extension
