Job Description

Our client in Nebraska is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 193-day assignment starting May 25, 2026. This role offers a dynamic schedule, including weekday shifts from 6:30a-2:30p and potential weekend call rotations (3p-7a), covering both first and second call. The Anesthetist will manage a wide array of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and vascular procedures, along with performing regional blocks and arterial line placements.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Vascular, ENT, GI/Endoscopy, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, and Emergency.
  • Manage pediatric cases as needed, which are minimal.
  • Perform general, local, and regional anesthesia procedures.
  • Administer spinal and epidural anesthesia.
  • Conduct peripheral nerve blocks for upper and lower extremities.
  • Execute peripheral IV and arterial line placements.


Additional Information

  • Experience with Epic EMR system is required.
  • Variable 8 or 16-hour shifts are available.
