Job Description
We are seeking an Anesthetist - Anesthesiology for a 90-day assignment in North Carolina, commencing Sep 21, 2026. This role involves managing high-acuity trauma cases for adult and pediatric patients under medical direction, with a schedule consisting of 24-hour call shifts. The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of surgical cases including general, gynecological, urological, orthopedic, spine, vascular, cardiac, pulmonary, and out-of-OR procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage high-acuity trauma cases
- Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients
- Work effectively under medical direction
- Administer general anesthesia
- Manage neurosurgical cases
- Provide open heart anesthesia
- Handle complex orthopedic cases
- Oversee ventilation management
- Manage a diverse range of cases including general, gynecological, urological, orthopedic, spine, vascular, cardiac, pulmonary, and out-of-OR procedures
