Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Anesthetist for a 10-day assignment in North Carolina. This role involves working daily shifts and participating in an in-house call schedule. The successful candidate will administer intravenous, general, and regional anesthetics to patients undergoing various surgical procedures and obstetric deliveries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer intravenous, general, and regional anesthetics (regional experience preferred) to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures and in obstetric deliveries or other medical procedures.
- Manage a diverse case mix including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological, C-Sections, and Optometry.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Anesthesiology
- EMR: Meditech EHR
- Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
