Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 24-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care within a designated Trauma Center, covering a diverse array of service lines including neonates, cardiovascular, trauma, and neuro cases, with shift end times varying between 3:00p, 5:00p, and 7:00p. The Anesthetist will manage complex cases such as high BMI and high-risk orthopedic patients, while specifically refraining from performing spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a designated Trauma Center.
  • Manage cases across various service lines including neonates, cardiovascular, trauma, neuro, cardio thoracic (optional for 8s, 10s, 12s), neuro anesthesia (optional for 8s, 10s, 12s), endoscopy, general surgery, plastics, vascular, complex backs and spines, robotics, and orthopedics.
  • Care for patients of ASA levels 3 and 4, high BMI, and high-risk orthopedic patients.
  • Participate in cases such as Tavers, pacemakers, EP, and Cath Lab cases.
  • Refrain from performing spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics.
