Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 5-day assignment beginning May 4, 2026. This role involves covering a range of cases including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, endoscopy, and urology. Shifts typically start at 6:45 AM, with cases commencing at 7:00 AM, and end times varying between 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 7:00 PM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics and C-sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics (2+ years of age), and Robotics.
  • Locum tenens will not be responsible for performing spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper or lower blocks, or fiber optics. These procedures will be conducted by the MDA.


Additional Information

  • The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
  • Candidates should be capable of performing at all seven GCM sites, particularly when submitting to the bullpen.
