We are seeking an experienced locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and offers a schedule of roughly 2 to 3 weeks per month with early morning OR arrivals and varying end times. Candidates must have hospital-based experience, particularly in low-income environments, and be comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary anesthesia team.

Schedule: Approximately 2 to 3 weeks per month, 6:45am OR arrival, 7:00am case start, end times at 3:00pm, 5:00pm, or 7:00pm
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based setting
Manage cases in collaboration with medical direction from the supervising anesthesiologist
Adhere strictly to outlined limitations: no spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics (these are conducted by the MDA)
Deliver care to patients from diverse backgrounds, including low-income populations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
Must have active CRNA license in North Carolina
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Hospital-based experience required; outpatient-only experience not accepted
Experience working in low-income environments strongly preferred
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
