Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CRNA specializing in Anesthesiology for a high-volume, high-acuity locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins Nov 16, 2025, for a 27-day contract, with both day and night 12-hour shifts available. The schedule includes select days and nights in November and December. Candidates must have advanced hospital-based experience and be comfortable working within a collaborative anesthesia care team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for high-volume, high-acuity hospital cases
  • Work collaboratively with attending anesthesiologists
  • Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during procedures
  • Adhere strictly to the following: under no circumstance will the locum perform spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics; these will be conducted by the supervising MDA
  • Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the perioperative period
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system


Additional Information

  • Must hold a valid North Carolina license
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Advanced hospital-based clinical experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
