Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Nov 10, 2025, and features 10-hour day shifts scheduled non-consecutively, Monday through Friday. The CRNA will support a defined scope of anesthesia services, adhering closely to team-based protocols.


Job Details

  • Schedule: 7am to 5pm, 4x10-hour shifts per week (non-consecutive days)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care under the supervision of the MDA, following established protocols
  • Administer general anesthesia as appropriate for assigned cases
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to ensure safe and effective patient management
  • Adhere strictly to the delineated scope of practice: all spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optic procedures are conducted by the MDA
  • Monitor patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively to ensure patient safety
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided


Additional Information

  • No new graduates; prior experience required
  • Must have active North Carolina licensure
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
