We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins on Apr 6, 2026, spans 100 days, and features a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call, offering four 10-hour day shifts each week. The role covers a variety of surgical cases and requires a current Florida license and a clean background.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB (C-sections required), radiology, endoscopy, eyes, plastics, ENT, and neuro cases
  • Perform epidural procedures (helpful but not required)
  • Deliver anesthesia without trauma case responsibility
  • Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Document all procedures and patient interactions using the Epic EMR system
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and patient care throughout the assignment


Additional Information

  • Must have an active and unrestricted Florida license
  • Clean background required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
