Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished Radiology Physician for a 265-day assignment in New York, beginning upon successful credentialing. This role involves Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm shifts with required evening and weekend on-call, ideally covering a week at a time. The Physician will perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures, contributing to patient care through advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide interventional radiology procedures including Angiography
- Perform Cryoblation
- Conduct Balloon angioplasty/stent placement
- Execute Line insertion
- Perform Chemoembolization
- Insert IVC filters
- Carry out Cholecystostomy
- Perform Vertebroplasty
- Execute Drain insertions
- Conduct Nephrostomy placement
- Perform Embolization
- Provide Radiologically inserted gastrostomy
- Conduct Thrombolysis
- Manage Dialysis access and related interventions
- Perform Biopsy procedures
- Execute TIPS placement
- Perform Radiofrequency ablation
- Provide Biliary intervention
- Perform Endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Setting: Clinic and Call
- Call Schedule: Out of house call, required every evening and weekend, ideally covering a week at a time and required for all hours during the week not onsite.
