This exciting opportunity offers 36 days of coverage, starting 09/29/2025, with a weekend-focused schedule (Thursday to Monday/Tuesday). The role requires expertise in Trauma, first assist duties, and a wide range of vascular surgery procedures, including endovascular, bypass, and vascular access device placements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with on-call responsibilities and proficient in Epic electronic health record system. This position at a hospital setting provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Physician Assistant to contribute to high-quality patient care in vascular surgery, with potential for assignment extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in Trauma cases
  • Perform first assist duties in vascular surgeries
  • Participate in general vascular surgery procedures
  • Conduct endovascular procedures
  • Assist in various bypass procedures, including fem-pop and aorto-femoral/iliac
  • Support peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal vascular surgeries
  • Place and manage vascular access devices
  • Assist in subclavian steal procedures
  • Provide on-call coverage as required
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and adhere to hospital protocols and procedures


Additional Information:

  • Must be licensed to practice in Colorado
  • Experience in vascular surgery and trauma care is essential
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
