Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity offers weekday, daytime shifts with no weekends or on-call coverage. The physician will provide daytime interventional radiology coverage and possible diagnostic reading.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM; no weekends or on call


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide interventional radiology coverage for daytime procedures and diagnostic reading as needed
  • Perform a wide range of IR procedures, including:
  • Ultrasound-guided liver, lymph node, neck, paracentesis, prostate, renal, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies
  • CT-guided bone biopsy, drainage, lung biopsy, retroperitoneal biopsy
  • Bone marrow biopsy
  • Gastrojejunostomy tube exchanges
  • Gallbladder drain placement
  • IVC filter placement
  • Lumbar puncture
  • Nasogastric tube placement
  • Nephrostomy tube placement and exchanges
  • PICC line placement
  • Tunneled dialysis catheter placement
  • Tunneled pleurx catheter (chest and abdominal)
  • Cases where proficiency is preferred, but not required:
  • Lung and renal ablations
  • AAA endovascular stents
  • Renal vascular stents
  • Embolizations
  • IVC filter removals
  • Percutaneous gastrostomy tubes
  • Document cases and note procedural proficiencies
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure quality patient care


Additional Information

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Open to physicians needing to obtain a Pennsylvania state license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
