Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in South Carolina, starting Nov 3, 2025. This position requires coverage up to 6 days per month, including weekday, weekend, and callback shifts from 7a to 7a. Candidates must hold or obtain an active South Carolina license, possess ACLS and BLS certifications, and have a current DEA registration. The assignment runs through Mar 30, 2026, and utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urology surgical coverage as scheduled
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient urological procedures as needed
  • Respond to callback and emergency urology consults
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams utilizing Epic EMR


Additional Information

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urological Surgery required
  • Active South Carolina medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • DEA registration required
  • Must submit to both required locations for consideration
  • Must be available for up to 6 days per month of coverage
