Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Surgery - Urology to join our client in North Carolina for a 7-day assignment starting Jun 18, 2026. This role involves practicing independently, providing first assist support, and managing 24-hour call shifts across multiple facilities, ensuring comprehensive urological care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Practice independently, collaborating with a Physician
- Provide first assist capabilities during surgical procedures
- Take call at multiple different facilities within 30 minutes of each other in the Winston Salem Metro Area
- Manage cases involving Robotics
- Perform Cystoscopy procedures
- Conduct Urodynamic Testing
- Execute Prostate Biopsies
- Perform Vasectomies and Vasectomy Reversals
- Assist with Penile Implant Surgery
- Handle Varicocelectomy procedures
- Conduct Orchiopexy
- Perform TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate)
- Execute Urethral Dilations
- Perform Lymph Node Dissections
- Assist with Ureteroscopy with Laser procedures
- Perform SWL (Shockwave Lithotripsy)
- Conduct PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
