Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Urology

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Urology Nurse Practitioner to embark on a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, beginning Nov 1, 2026. This role involves practicing independently under physician collaboration, providing first assist in surgical procedures, and managing a variety of urological cases including robotics, cystoscopy, and minor surgical interventions. The selected provider will be responsible for 24-hour and 12-hour call shifts across multiple facilities, playing a critical role in patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Practice independently under physician collaboration
• First assist in surgical procedures
• Take call at multiple facilities within close proximity
• Perform Robotics procedures
• Conduct Cystoscopy
• Perform Urodynamic Testing
• Conduct Prostate Biopsy
• Perform Vasectomy
• Perform Vasectomy Reversal
• Assist with Penile Implant Surgery
• Perform Varicocelectomy
• Perform Orchiopexy
• Conduct TURP
• Perform Urethral Dilation
• Assist with Lymph Node Dissection
• Perform Ureteroscopy with Laser
• Perform SWL
• Perform PCNL
