Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Urology for a 1-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting May 18, 2026. This role involves practicing independently while collaborating with a physician, primarily assisting in surgical cases. The schedule will consist of a 24-hour call shift, covering a diverse range of urological procedures including robotics, cystoscopy, and prostate biopsies.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Practice independently under the supervision and collaboration of a Physician
  • Perform first assist duties in surgical procedures
  • Manage cases involving Robotics
  • Conduct Cystoscopy procedures
  • Perform Urodynamic Testing
  • Execute Prostate Biopsies
  • Carry out Vasectomies
  • Assist with Vasectomy Reversals
  • Participate in Penile Implant Surgery
  • Perform Varicocelectomy procedures
  • Conduct Orchiopexy
  • Perform TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate)
  • Conduct Urethral Dilation
  • Perform Lymph Node Dissection
  • Assist with Ureteroscopy with Laser procedures
  • Perform SWL (Shockwave Lithotripsy)
  • Participate in PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
