We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our client in West Virginia for a 12-month locum tenens assignment starting on Sep 1, 2025. This role involves providing care during flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday, 8a-8p, offering a significant opportunity for those looking to impact patient outcomes across a wide age spectrum.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care for conditions such as cold/flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform orthopedic procedures including splinting.
  • Manage wound care effectively.
  • Ensure all care provided is in accordance with the highest standards and compliant with current medical practices and procedures.
  • See patients of all ages in a clinical setting.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.


Additional Information

  • Candidates must be comfortable with the breadth of urgent care procedures.
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • West Virginia state medical license required.
