Job Description

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Urgent Care Physician to join a dynamic healthcare team in Pennsylvania. This locum tenens assignment is scheduled to begin on Sep 1, 2025, and will run for 36 weeks. The role involves day shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM, where the physician will manage a variety of urgent care conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess and treat patients with conditions such as cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform minor medical procedures, including splinting, conducting X-rays and EKGs, drawing blood, and incision and drainage (I&D).
  • Ensure proper patient referral to the local ER for high-acuity conditions.


Additional Information

  • Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or 2 years in urgent care.
  • Board Certification in Urgent Care required.
  • EMR Used: Epic
