Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Nevada. This opportunity begins on Nov 1, 2025, with a 24-day contract and day shifts from 7a-8p. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care and must be comfortable treating pediatric patients aged 3 months and older.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide patient care in a typical urgent care setting
  • Manage cases involving patients age 3 months and older
  • Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage procedures
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs
  • Experience with work-related injuries and workers' compensation cases is a plus
  • DOT certification experience is beneficial
  • Utilize Practice Velocity EMR for documentation


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
  • Nevada medical license required
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Comfort with pediatric patients (3 months and older) is required
