Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in Nevada starting Nov 1, 2025. The role offers 7a-8p shifts and involves caring for pediatric patients aged 3 months and older in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care and be comfortable with a variety of acute presentations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide acute care to pediatric and adult patients in an urgent care setting
  • Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage procedures
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs
  • Manage work-related injuries; work comp experience is a plus
  • Utilize Practice Velocity EMR for patient documentation
  • Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) certifications if qualified


Additional Information

  • Must have 3-6 years of relevant experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care
  • Comfortable providing care to patients as young as 3 months old
  • Current board certifications required: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
  • Must hold an active Nevada license
