Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Nov 2, 2026. This role involves covering Monday through Sunday shifts from 8a-8p, providing comprehensive urgent care to patients across multiple sites and working independently on typical urgent care cases including minor procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care services to patients presenting with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&Ds), splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, and IV insertions.
  • Work independently without direct supervision.
  • Travel between multiple sites within a 30-mile radius, including Harrisburg Linglestown, Mechanicsburg, and Carlisle.
  • Refer high acuity cases to the local emergency room when appropriate.
  • Provide care for pediatric patients as needed.
