Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role begins on Sep 1, 2025, and involves daily shifts from 8am to 8pm. The practitioner will manage a variety of urgent care needs, providing immediate and effective care to patients with acute conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and treat patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform minor procedures such as splints, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, and incision and drainage.
  • Refer high acuity cases to the local emergency room.
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Urgent Care
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or 2 years in urgent care.
  • Must hold valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is required.
