Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity involves regular 8-hour shifts from 4pm to 12am, covering Monday through Sunday as scheduled. The position focuses on reading CT and Nuclear Medicine studies, primarily managing overflow, backlog, and emergency room cases. Candidates must be comfortable with high-volume reading and proficient with Epic EMR.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 4pm–12am, Monday–Friday, Saturday and Sunday; only 4pm–12am shifts available

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Interpret and read 90-100 imaging studies per 8-hour shift
  • Read CT and Nuclear Medicine studies
  • Provide timely reads for overflow, backlog, and emergency room cases
  • Adhere strictly to assigned shift times; full shift availability required
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure work station setup
  • Utilize Epic EMR for case management and documentation

Additional Information
  • Must hold a current West Virginia medical license
  • Must be tech savvy and able to coordinate with IT for workstation setup
