Job Description

We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Feb 1, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with coverage for select holidays. The ideal candidate will have a Texas license or be eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, and must be board certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm CST; coverage required for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Carry out angiography and pulmonary embolism interventions
  • Perform thrombectomy procedures
  • Manage drain placements and lumbar punctures
  • Place biliary drains and nephrostomy tubes
  • Insert central lines
  • Complete additional interventional radiology procedures as required


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Texas license or IMLC eligibility strongly preferred
