We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 365-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm day shift schedule. Providers must be board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology per the American Board of Radiology and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm local time; on-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including:
Angiography
Cryoablation
Balloon angioplasty and stent placement
Line insertion
Chemoembolization
IVC filter placement
Cholecystostomy
Kyphoplasty
Drain insertions
Nephrostomy placement
Embolization
Radiologically guided gastrostomy
Thrombolysis
Dialysis access and related interventions
Biopsy
TIPS placement
Radiofrequency and microwave ablation
Biliary interventions
Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures
Collaborate effectively with referring providers and clinical staff
Provide on-call coverage as required
Additional Information
Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology is required
Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
Must hold a valid medical license applicable to New York
