 Wellhart is seeking a board-certified Radiologist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in New York. The assignment begins on 12/15/2025, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 12 pm to 8 pm. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all general radiology reads, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain film interpretations. This role requires expertise in handling overflow and stat reads, ensuring timely and accurate diagnoses. The position offers comprehensive radiology coverage during peak afternoon and evening hours, with potential for extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films

• Handle overflow and stat reads efficiently

• Provide timely and accurate radiological interpretations

• Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers

• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance measures

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

• Utilize the hospital's radiology information system and PACS

• Stay current with the latest advancements in radiological techniques and technologies

• Maintain clear and concise documentation of findings

• Communicate effectively with technologists and support staff

• Provide consultation on appropriate imaging studies when requested

• Assist in optimizing imaging protocols for various modalities
