Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity starts Dec 1, 2025, and features a Monday through Friday onsite schedule from 8am to 5pm EST. The radiologist will provide both interventional and general radiology services, with a focus on procedures such as fluoroscopy, biopsies, and drain placements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including BE, UGI, Mod BAS, SMB, and more
  • Record fluoroscopy procedures and submit to PACS for radiologist review
  • Conduct interventional procedures such as:
  • Paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Chest tube placements
  • CT-guided biopsies (kidney, bone, liver, lung, etc.)
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsy/aspiration (excluding breast)
  • Myelograms and spinal punctures
  • Arthrograms (hip, shoulder, wrist, knee)
  • Fluoroscopy-guided aspirations
  • CT-guided drain tube placements
  • Fluoroscopy-guided G-tube placements
  • Tunnel catheters and trialysis catheters
  • CT-guided percutaneous nephrostomy tube placement


Additional Information

  • Must hold active Kentucky medical license
  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology is required
