Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist with fellowship training in Breast Radiology for a locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. This assignment is scheduled to begin on Dec 29, 2025, for 60 days, featuring day shifts Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with 2D/3D mammography, diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound, and will participate in both onsite interventional radiology and general radiology duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform fluoroscopy (BE, UGI, Mod BAS, SMB, and related studies)
  • Record fluoro studies and send to PACS for radiologist review
  • Conduct paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube placements
  • Perform CT-guided biopsies (kidney, bone, liver, lung, and more)
  • Conduct ultrasound-guided biopsies and aspirations (excluding breast)
  • Execute myelograms and spinal punctures
  • Perform arthrograms (hip, shoulder, wrist, knee)
  • Conduct fluoro-guided aspirations
  • Place CT-guided drain tubes and fluoro-guided G-tubes
  • Place tunnel catheters and trialysis catheters
  • Perform CT-guided percutaneous nephrostomy tube placements


Additional Information

  • Board certification required
  • Fellowship training in Breast Radiology required
  • Must be licensed to practice in Kentucky
  • Proficiency with both 2D and 3D mammography, as well as diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound, is required
