Job Description

We are actively recruiting an experienced Radiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, commencing Mar 23, 2026. This position offers 8-hour shifts focused on emergency room and general readings, transitioning to solo coverage after 5 pm. The role encompasses a variety of cases, including urgent stat reads with specific turnaround times for strokes and other critical diagnostics.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform readings for ER and general cases.
• Provide overlap coverage until 5 pm, followed by solo coverage.
• Conduct stat reads with a 2-hour turnaround time.
• Conduct stroke stat reads with a 20-minute turnaround time.
• Interpret a high volume of CT reads, including pulmonary, general diagnostics, abdomen, and pelvis studies.
• Focus primarily on body imaging.
• Confirm strokes through readings, not involving interventional radiology procedures.
