Physician - Radiologist

Job Description

Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Radiologist Physician for a 30-day assignment starting May 18, 2026. This role involves comprehensive hospital coverage with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts, including interventional radiology needs, stroke CTs, and other procedures. The Physician will also provide outpatient coverage for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive hospital radiology coverage, including interventional radiology needs.
• Manage stroke CTs and other associated procedures.
• Perform required procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and various centesis exams with drains.
• Conduct CT/US biopsies as preferred.
• Execute IR procedures including Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, and Suprapubic Catheters.
• Perform biopsies of the Thyroid, Lung, and other relevant areas.
• Cover outpatient services requiring a Radiologist to be present for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.
