Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Nov 10, 2025, for a 50-day contract. This role offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with scheduled hours and no call requirements. The Radiologist will provide general radiology coverage for the emergency room, with occasional basic fluoroscopy cases as they arise.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general radiology coverage for the emergency department
  • Perform in-hospital reads (remote work not available)
  • Read an average of 70-80 studies per day during locum assignment
  • Perform occasional basic fluoroscopy cases as needed
  • Collaborate with permanent radiologists and hospital staff
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Arizona license or eligibility through IMLC
  • Board certification in Radiology required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • In-hospital work only; remote work is not an option
  • Holiday schedules require confirmation with the assignment manager
