Wellhart is seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position in Puerto Rico. This 65-day assignment begins on 02/16/2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The physician will provide comprehensive radiation oncology services, including evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for both inpatient and outpatient cancer patients. The ideal candidate should be proficient in advanced modalities such as 3D-conformal, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and/or SRS. Experience with veteran-specific cases, including exposure-related issues, is beneficial. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and potentially extend the assignment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide evaluation and treatment for inpatient and outpatient clinical services
• Manage both palliative and curative cancer patients
• Conduct follow-up and re-evaluation visits
• Utilize advanced modalities including 3D-conformal, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and/or SRS
• Handle complex cancer cases, including veteran-specific exposure issues
• Work with CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System)
• Adapt to variable case types and patient needs

• Must be licensed in any state
• Experience with veteran-specific cases is preferred
