Job Description

Our client in Illinois is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist for a 100-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This role requires a physician who can primarily provide full-time coverage, though consideration will be given to two providers splitting the schedule to ensure continuous patient care. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients undergoing radiation therapy in an outpatient setting, conducting new patient consultations, developing treatment plans, and delivering comprehensive follow-up care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and manage patients undergoing radiation therapy in an outpatient setting.
  • Conduct new patient consultations, including review of medical history, imaging, and pathology.
  • Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans in collaboration with medical physicists and dosimetry teams.
  • Provide follow-up care and survivorship planning for patients post-treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncology, surgery, and support staff.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
  • EMR System: Epic.
