Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist Physician for a 40-day assignment in Illinois, beginning Jun 2, 2026. This vital role involves managing a robust patient load of 25-30 treatments daily, with a focus on external beam treatments, OTVs, and follow-ups. The selected physician will be instrumental in comprehensive patient evaluation, precise treatment planning, and ensuring the accurate delivery of radiation therapy.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation, and dosimetry treatment planning.
  • Prescribe radiation therapy.
  • Conduct weekly assessments of patients under treatment.
  • Perform post-treatment patient follow-up.
  • Check daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment.


Additional Information

  • EMR: Epic
  • Expected to manage 25-30 patients under treatment per day, including external beam treatments, OTVs, and follow-ups. Procedures require on-site supervision for compliance, checking SRSs, on-treatment visits, follow-up, or consult.
