Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through record review and clinical interviews with inmates
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care and share relevant information
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient needs
Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health requirements
Apply psychological counseling theory and techniques in providing treatments and interventions for individuals on caseload
Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for inmates in need
Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplain, and security staff to gather insights into behavioral escalations and mental health condition changes
Additional Information
Must have two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable position
Must be at least board eligible to qualify for privileges
US Citizenship required for ICE clearance; expedited clearance in place for new activation
Candidates will undergo thorough background and credit investigation
Licensure in Oklahoma required
