Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team to integrate treatment activities and ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Conduct regular assessments in confined housing areas to identify inmates' mental health treatment needs.
  • Apply psychological counseling theory and techniques effectively in the treatment of patients.
  • Provide crisis interventions and consult with other healthcare professionals to address escalating behavioral and mental health issues.
