Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care
  • Collaborate with mental health staff for patient management
  • Conduct patient admissions, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans
  • Manage patient care including timely treatment and discharge
  • Operate the clinic, examine patients, and interpret reports
  • Provide clinical psychiatry services in various settings including clinic and residential care
  • Ensure communication of test results as per protocols
  • Follow established medication policies and procedures
  • Offer discharge education and coordinate follow-up care
