Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour on-call hospitalist coverage for newborn, pediatric, and adolescent patients
Manage a patient caseload with an average daily census of 3–4 newborns; pediatric patients average 0–1 every two months
Perform newborn procedures, including circumcision and umbilical venous/arterial catheterization (UVC/UAC highly preferred)
Interpret X-rays as required
Supervise and allow observation by medical students during newborn patient rounds
Respond to emergent and routine clinical needs within a 30-minute timeframe
Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols
Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety
Additional Information
Active Ohio medical license, Ohio DEA, BLS, and NRP required
