Job Description
Our client in Colorado seeks a skilled Physician specializing in Pediatric Hospitalist care for a 5-day assignment. This role involves 7-10, 24-hour shifts per month, focusing on critical responsibilities such as performing intubations, managing central lines, leading codes, and responding to rapid response calls.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform intubations and manage central lines.
- Lead medical codes.
- Respond to rapid response situations.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Family Medicine
- EMR: Cerner
- Other Required Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- LOA: 5 days
- Staffing Mix: Onsite subspecialty support includes General Surgery, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and 24/7 OB coverage.
- Patients per day: The average daily census is 8 patients, with a maximum census of 20 patients.
- Specific requirements: New graduates are welcome, provided they are board certified or board eligible. Case logs from the last 24 months are required. Candidates should possess MED/PEDS experience or experience in Family Medicine with Pediatrics.
