Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 7-day assignment starting Mar 22, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, focusing on critical care procedures such as intubations, central line placements, leading codes, and responding to rapid response calls. The physician will manage a varied patient census, including cases like pneumonia, sepsis, and respiratory failure, within a hospital setting that welcomes board-certified or board-eligible new graduates.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform intubations and central line placements.
  • Lead code blue events and rapid responses.
  • Manage acute beds, ICU beds, swing beds, and patients within the family birthing unit.
  • Address a range of conditions including pneumonia, sepsis, weakness, DKA, and respiratory failure.
  • Handle an average daily census of 8 patients, with variable acuity.
  • Experience in MED/PEDS or Family Medicine with PEDS is beneficial.
  • Provide case logs from the last 24 months.
