Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician for a 7-day assignment starting May 17, 2026, in West Virginia. This role involves 24-hour shifts, focusing on daily rounds with residents and nurse practitioners, managing patient notes, and triaging pediatric transfer center calls for a trauma PICU.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform daily rounds with one resident, one nurse practitioner, and medical students.
  • Manage daily notes; attending can complete a separate note or attest to resident/NP notes.
  • Triage transfer center phone calls for pediatric patients.
  • Determine whether pediatric patients should go to the ER, pediatric floor, or PICU.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine required.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
  • Cases include trauma PICU.
  • Schedule involves 24-hour shifts.
