Job Description

We are seeking an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma, starting Jan 19, 2026. This opportunity offers night shifts in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm to 7am, and no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced care for pediatric patients in a closed, mixed-acuity 34-bed PICU
  • Manage ventilators (no ECMO required)
  • Collaborate closely with 24/7 physician support
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Oklahoma license
  • Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • PNP-AC certification from the PNCB required for nurse practitioner candidates
  • Vent management experience is essential
